Town Creek Indian Mounds is an undeveloped historical site. The visitors facility was being renovated at the time of my visit. The reservation doesent make a huge tourist attraction so it does a great job preserving the natural environment at the same time highlighting the historical relevance.
Very knowledgeable guides and a fun field trip.
Primitive site but very educational. Paving new road and parking lot. Visitor Center closed for renovation. Closed on Mondays regularly. Beautiful nature trail. Estimate spending 2 hours minimal. Will come back again.
It's a very beautiful place with a lot of good historical information. When it's wet, it can be a little muddy, so wear shoes that won't slip and slide. There is a nice nature trail to walk. Unfortunately, the gift shop/info center was closed, but the gentleman came outside to greet us and explain the various pamphlets. He was very knowledgeable and gave good directions on how to begin our self guided tour
It's store and museum is currently closed for renovation. However our grandson had a great time.
